Families navigating special education can meet the Up to SPED team, connect with other caregivers, and prepare for the school year in a casual social setting. Light snacks will be served alongside information about educational rights, the special-education process, related services, and family resources.
The nonprofit offers trainings, workshops, referrals, networking, skill-building, and community outreach for families involved with special education. Children, parents, caregivers, and community members interested in the organization are welcome. Free parking is available.
