Families navigating special education can meet the team behind Up to SPED, connect with one another, and prepare for the coming school year in an informal social setting. Light snacks will be available alongside information about educational rights, the special-education process, related services, and local resources.
Up to SPED supports families through trainings, workshops, skill-building, referrals, networking, and community outreach. Parents, caregivers, children, and anyone interested in the organization’s work are welcome. Free parking is available.
