July’s Materials Lab explores fabrics and textiles through creative experimentation. A Teaching Artist leads a pop-up demonstration focused on a tool, process, technique or idea, with the featured approach changing weekly. Families may also explore the material through self-directed making during Innovators LAB open hours.
Children must be at least 4 and accompanied by a supporting caregiver. No RSVP is needed; seating is managed in real time. Hot glue guns, adult scissors, beads and other small or potentially hazardous materials are supplied only on request and at staff discretion.
