Explore the park’s east side while learning about plants, animals, geology, history, and ecology. Possible routes include the Grasslands Trail, Kumeyaay grinding rocks, the lake shoreline, Oak Canyon, and Old Mission Dam.
Meet at the entry station. The free walk requires no reservation. Trails are easy but uneven. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection. Rain cancels.
