Guided Nature Walk from Kumeyaay Lake Campground

Explore the park’s east side with a volunteer guide while learning about plants, animals, geology, history, and ecology. Possible routes include the Grasslands Trail, a Kumeyaay grinding-rocks site, the lake shoreline, Oak Canyon, and Old Mission Dam.

Meet at the campground entry station. The free walk requires no reservation. Trails are easy but uneven and may include steps. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection. Rain cancels.
