A volunteer Trail Guide leads an interpretive walk focused on Mission Trails’ plants, wildlife, geology, history and ecology. The day’s route may use the Oak Grove Loop, Visitor Center Loop or Grinding Rocks Trail, offering habitats ranging from oak woodland and coastal sage scrub to riparian areas and an archaeological site.

The routes are considered easy but have uneven ground and may include steps. Wear sturdy shoes and a hat, bring water and use sun protection. No reservation is required; rain cancels the walk.
