Free Walking Tour: Celebrating 97 Years of the Junípero Serra Museum

Explore the Presidio de San Diego on a guided anniversary walk marking 97 years since the Junípero Serra Museum opened. The route visits the archaeological site beneath the museum hillside and considers why people have gathered in this river valley for thousands of years. Guides will explain how archaeological and historical research helped reveal the Presidio’s past and reconstruct the buildings that once occupied the site.
