Docent Vanessa Pricer leads a collection tour about dogs as guardians, sacred companions, and members of human communities. Families will look at how cultures around the ancient world represented dogs in art, mythology, and everyday life, then consider how those relationships continue today.
Part of the museum’s docent-created Off the Wall series, the tour meets in Cowden Gallery. Capacity is limited to 25 people; participation is first come, first served, with check-in at the front desk.
