Terrell Heights
This is one day of the five-day Critters & Creations camp week for ages 7–9. Children investigate wildlife and natural materials around the museum while making art in morning and afternoon studio sessions. The week finishes with a Young Artist Showcase for family and friends.
Daily program
- 9 a.m.–noon — Marion’s Wonderful Wildlife: Mary Sepulveda helps campers learn about creatures found on the museum grounds and sculpt their own versions from handmade air-dry clay.
- Noon–1 p.m.: Full-day campers eat a packed lunch; morning-only campers are dismissed.
- 1–4 p.m. — Nature Art Party: Anfisa Brewer leads tactile and movement-based exploration of natural and organic landscape materials. Activities include rock painting, flower pressing, and tracing found objects.
What to bring
Campers need a reusable water bottle and snacks. Full-day participants should also pack lunch, two snacks, and a hat for outdoor time. Electronic devices, nut-containing foods, and valuable items are not permitted. Drop-off starts at 8:30 a.m.
The entire week is sold out. Published fees are $165–$175 for a half-day week and $375–$385 for the full-day option, including a $75 nonrefundable processing fee.
