Locals Day: Free Admission for Bexar County Residents

San Antonio and Bexar County residents receive free museum admission for a day of Western art and culture. Families can explore the museum’s 1.4-acre campus and 14 permanent galleries.

A free, self-guided Scout the Briscoe scavenger hunt invites visitors of all ages to solve monthly clues while discovering art, artifacts and Western history. Completed hunts receive a museum-store discount.

Full STEAM Ahead also runs from 1–3 p.m., offering an all-ages, hands-on activity connecting Western art and artifacts with science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. The registration form requests group counts and provides a confirmation to present at the front desk.
