This free beginner course teaches safe entry and exit, bubbles, bobbing, underwater retrieval, glides, floating, rolling, treading water, and basic coordinated swimming. No previous swimming experience is required.
Water-safety instruction includes lifeguard awareness, life jackets, emergencies, calling for help, and sun safety. The session meets Tuesdays through Thursdays; registration is required.
