This free family program celebrates frontiersman and Alamo defender David Crockett. A costumed living historian portrays Crockett and presents readings drawn from the Tennessee congressman’s letters and other writings.
Families can hear fiddle music and stories from Crockett descendants, then watch rifle- and musket-firing demonstrations. The program blends living history, music, biography, and historic-weapons interpretation in Alamo Plaza.
