Children and their families receive a 3.5-by-28-foot plot and learn to grow vegetables with educators and volunteers. Participants take their harvest home, and each Saturday includes a planting activity or presentation connecting children with plants, nature, and food.
The program meets Saturdays from August 22 through December 12. Enrollment is sold by family plot.
