Alamo historian Ernesto Rodriguez leads an after-hours collections experience devoted to David Crockett. The tour includes private access to the Alamo Exhibit and close views of Crockett-related objects such as a beaded buckskin vest and the original painting created for the 1960 film The Alamo.

Guests will also see material not normally displayed, including original Crockett documents and letters and the coonskin cap John Wayne wore in the movie. The program combines a guided gallery visit with access to additional vault artifacts.

This is a premium, history-focused evening tour. Children’s tickets are available, but the subject and format are best suited to older school-age children. Missed reservations are nonrefundable; changes require at least one business day’s notice.
