Unearth a Story: Be a Paleoartist!

Discover how paleoartists use fossils, dinosaur skeletons, and scientific research to imagine prehistoric animals. Children will begin with a fossil rubbing and then “flesh it out,” adding features such as skin, teeth, feathers, or horns to bring an extinct creature to life.

This free library art activity combines scientific observation, imagination, drawing, and texture-making. It is presented by UMFA educators at the Marmalade Branch of The City Library.
