Drop-in Drawing Disco: Oil Pastel Still Lifes

Explore the museum galleries for inspiration, then make an oil-pastel still life during this relaxed, drop-in drawing session. Participants of every experience level are welcome, and the museum supplies the art materials. Visitors may also bring a sketchbook or another work in progress.

RSVPs are encouraged but not required, and families may arrive at any point while space remains. This is an evening program whose subject and open-studio format are best suited to older children and teens.

Museum logistics

• The museum is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible; sensory bags and a loaner wheelchair are available at the welcome desk.
• Free visitor stalls are east of the museum. Drivers must register their license plate at the welcome desk. The University South Campus TRAX stop is about a five-minute walk away.
• Backpacks, large bags, and umbrellas must be checked; changing stations are available in several museum restrooms.
