Baritone Omari Tau leads a quintet through music associated with Nina Simone, Tom Waits, and Cassandra Wilson, blending jazz, blues, folk, soul, pop, classical, and musical-theatre influences. He is joined by saxophonist Jacám Manricks, pianist Joe Gilman, bassist Andrew Mell, and drummer Tim Stephenson for arranged songs, improvisation, and musical storytelling.
Doors open 30 minutes before this all-ages concert. Seating is general admission and first-come, first-served. ADA seating, an entrance ramp, and an elevator are available.
