Old Sacramento
Take a vintage train on a roughly 45-minute, six-mile round trip from Old Sacramento along the Sacramento River. The family-friendly ride introduces historic rail travel and Western railroad history. Departures are scheduled for 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Coach and first-class tickets are available. First class offers air conditioning, a snack, and a nonalcoholic drink on a ride lasting about 50 minutes. Historic coaches require passengers to climb narrow stairs; wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers cannot enter the cars but may be stored temporarily at the station.
