D1 Birds and Benches: Birds on the Go! Zippered Totebag Printing Workshop

Artist Ambassador Heather Hogan leads a free, hands-on workshop inspired by the birds and native plants of the Natomas Basin. Participants will collage a habitat for a favorite bird, transfer the finished design with a heat press, and leave with a durable zippered tote they created themselves.

The workshop is part of the City’s Birds and Benches public-art initiative, a yearlong community-engagement program that will inform new artist-designed benches around North Natomas Regional Park and the Jackrabbit Trail.
