Crocker Art Camp: Comic Capers and Jokes in Strokes

Five-day camp

Children learn to draw comics and tell jokes through cartoons, inventing characters and bringing them to life through drawing, inking, and three-dimensional sculpture.

Daily gallery visits, behind-the-scenes Museum access, projects with Crocker educators and local artists, and time in the studios and outdoor spaces provide a varied art experience. An 8:1 camper-to-facilitator ratio lets children work directly with instructors. Both individual and collaborative projects emphasize creative process and familiarity with different materials, and the week concludes with an art show.

All supplies and a cotton Crocker Kid T-shirt are included. Full-session extended care from 4–5 PM costs an additional $100 and is not available by the day. Space is limited, advance registration is required, and a limited number of scholarships are available through emoore@crockerartmuseum.org.
