Crocker Art Camp: Color Lab

Five-day camp

Young artists investigate color—from bold and energetic to calm and cool—through gallery visits, color mixing, and hands-on projects. Campers experiment with varied tools and materials to capture color, pattern, and movement.

The broader camp experience includes daily gallery time, behind-the-scenes Museum access, individual and collaborative projects, and work with Crocker educators and local teaching artists. An 8:1 camper-to-facilitator ratio supports direct artmaking alongside instructors, and the week culminates in an art show. Activities emphasize experimentation and creative process across multiple media rather than a single finished product.

All supplies and a cotton Crocker Kid T-shirt are included. Optional extended care runs from 4–5 PM and costs $100 for the full week; single-day extended care is unavailable. Space is limited, advance registration is required, and a limited number of scholarships are available through emoore@crockerartmuseum.org.
