This participatory class combines Brazilian folkloric Capoeira's music, movement and self-defense traditions with samba drumming. Mestre Caboclinho, a Brazilian master artist, teaches the class, and no previous experience is required. Participants may also have opportunities to perform at the organization's Brazilian Day Sacramento Street Festival.
Advance registration is mandatory. Families should email brazacali@yahoo.com or call 916-588-5463 before attending; unregistered visitors cannot join the class.
