Local children can receive a free backpack stocked with school supplies. The afternoon also includes lunch, bicycle repairs, and additional family services and community resources.
Mayor Kevin McCarty, Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes, and Assemblymember Maggy Krell are listed as hosts. RSVP is strongly encouraged but does not guarantee that a backpack will be available. Free parking is offered.
