The second day of this family-friendly multicultural festival celebrates banana-growing countries through their cultures, food, music, art, and entertainment.
Family activities and entertainment
- A Kids Zone with bounce houses, bungees, games, reptile exhibits, and banana crafts
- Live music, including the published 2026 lineup of Soul Fyah in da Mix, Ras D, Bryson Musiq and the Caribbean Soul, Ras Matthew Pailes, and DJ Selekta Lou
- Banana-inspired treats, local food, sweets, festival contests, and an arts-and-crafts marketplace
The festival is the National Academic Youth Corps’ largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds support the Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum’s youth and family programs, including affordable arts education, wellness activities, career preparation, and technology resources.
Presale admission is $10 for adults, $8 for ages 6–17 and seniors, and free for children five and younger. Even free attendees need an entry ticket.
