The Flying Squirrels open a three-game series against the Erie SeaWolves with Christmas in July, JMU Night and Fauxback Friday. Pregame entertainment begins after gates open at 5:30 p.m., with DJ Ron Manila, the Batter Up Brass Band, artificial snow, holiday music, games and a Santa appearance.
CarMax Park offers an inclusive playground with separate areas for ages 2–5 and 5–12, a nearby family lawn and a private nursing suite with seating and a changing area. The venue uses mobile tickets and cashless payments.
