Museum District
Museum educators lead outdoor games drawn from Virginia history and cultures around the world. The summer lineup connects with We The People: The World in Our Commonwealth and may include yut nori, al rein, stick-horse races, kanche, and other activities.
The program is open to all ages and recommended for elementary- and middle-school children. It is free, outdoors, and drop-in, so families do not need to arrive at the starting time.
Weather decisions are made each event morning. The museum posts cancellation updates through its Virginia History and VMHC Education social accounts.
