Virginia Repertory Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning musical based on the true story of nearly 7,000 airline passengers diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, after the September 11 attacks. The production follows the generosity of Gander’s residents and the unexpected connections formed during five uncertain days, told through an uplifting ensemble score.
The theater recommends the show for ages 10 and older. It includes some adult language and themes involving terrorism, panic and grief. Mobile tickets are delivered 24–48 hours before the performance, and Virginia Rep advises patrons to avoid unauthorized third-party ticket sellers.
