Children can climb into and explore fire trucks, police cars, construction vehicles and other large equipment while meeting the community helpers who operate them. Hands-on games, activities, snacks and optional tours of the autism center round out the morning.
The event is designed especially for autistic children ages 2–9, though all families are welcome. A quiet comfort area will be available throughout the event so children can take a break and explore at their own pace. Attendance is free, but capacity is limited and an RSVP is requested.
