Raleigh’s eighth annual Mud Day celebrates urban wetlands through hands-on activities from local environmental groups, food trucks and a giant mud pit. The all-ages festival is intentionally messy and designed to connect children with the wetland environment.
The Norman and Betty Camp Education Center at the park provides public restrooms and water fountains and is ADA accessible. The organizer notes that more festival details are still to come.
