After Dark: A Nocturnal Insect Walk

Explore insects active after sunset with entomologist Bill Reynolds. A 30-minute indoor introduction covers likely finds and nighttime collecting methods, followed by an outdoor exploration using light traps and other materials to look for moths, beetles and additional nocturnal species.

Bring a water bottle and small flashlight, dress for outdoor conditions and be ready to walk in the dark. Advance paid registration is required. Cancellations are accepted until two weeks beforehand with a 15% fee.
