Drop in to explore the 1773 cottage that was home to Betsey and Rhoda Williams, descendants of Providence founder Roger Williams. Interpreters share the building's history and explain how Betsey's bequest of the cottage and 102 surrounding acres became the foundation of Roger Williams Park.
The open house is free. The cottage is near the park's Elmwood Avenue entrance, with street parking around the Rose Garden.
