Begin at an outdoor artisan market in and around Union Station Plaza, then continue through the Basin Tunnel toward WaterFire. Families can shop from local makers, find food and an outdoor bar, and see cultural programming tied to Providence's summer soccer celebrations.
WaterFire's official schedule lists onshore programming and vendors before the basin lighting, with the fires burning from sunset until 10 p.m. The evening also includes a torch procession and musical and cultural performances.
