Directions
Route
- From the trailhead, stay on the paved path past the pavilion and under the Thurman Street Bridge.
- Continue beside Balch Creek, cross the wooden bridge, and turn around at the semicircular stone-wall bump-out before the pavement ends.
- Return to the trailhead on the same paved path.
Good to know
The path narrows to about 5 feet near the end. Turn around before the pavement changes to packed dirt: beyond that lip the official profile records uneven obstacles, abrupt edges, and grades of 16–20%. Restrooms, water, a covered pavilion, and limited parking are at the trailhead.
