Week 4: Creative Writing and Nature Play Summer Camp

Campers split each morning between creative writing and active outdoor play. They generate ideas, write stories of their choosing, learn tools such as sensory detail and the three pillars of story, and receive individual guidance when helpful. The format welcomes enthusiastic writers as well as children who have not yet found writing enjoyable.

Outdoor time may include tag and hide-and-seek games, fort building and park exploration. The sliding-scale registration fee covers the Monday–Friday session, which meets from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Refunds are available until seven days before camp.
