See Columbia Slough habitat from a canoe or kayak on a gentle Pride birding paddle led with Queer Flockers and Columbia Slough Watershed Council. The gathering centers LGBTQ+ community members while welcoming all experience levels. Boats, paddles, life jackets, shared binoculars, snacks and drinks are provided; a bring-your-own-lunch social follows.

Participants must be able to enter and exit a canoe from a dock and remain seated for about 90 minutes. Expect full sun and a gravel or dirt approach to the dock. A portable toilet and free parking are available, and TriMet route 75 stops about a quarter-mile away. Advance registration is required.
