This bilingual, drop-in forest celebration helps families explore the ways trees become homes for wildlife. Hoyt educators and community partners will offer games, nature crafts, book readings, “poet-tree,” habitat stations and guided walks in English and Spanish. Jessa & the Saplings will perform children’s music, and an outdoor ceramics installation examines climate change’s effects on native trees.
Stevens Pavilion is across from the Visitor Center. Accessible all-gender restrooms are nearby. Fairview Boulevard parking requires payment; families can also take MAX to Washington Park and use the free shuttle.
