Visit the wildlife sanctuary after dark to find moths drawn to building lights and learn about their life histories and evolution. Guides will also watch for other nocturnal wildlife, with extended pauses to examine insects up close. Bring a headlamp.
Most observation happens near the buildings, but a possible creek or pond walk uses narrow, rocky and uneven trails in low light with roughly 100 feet of elevation change. The organizer does not recommend this event for people with mobility limitations. Advance registration is required.
