Nico the banana slug explores Forest Park, meets forest friends and learns about kindness, curiosity and caring for nature in this interactive English-Spanish puppet performance. Afterward, children can color and make paper puppets to continue the story at home.
The program blends early literacy, environmental awareness and cultural connection. A free Forest Park shuttle serves Lower Macleay Trailhead on summer Fridays and Saturdays. Reserve a place through Forest Park Conservancy’s event system.
