Accessible Birding with The ARC at Smith and Bybee Wetlands

Explore the wildlife of Smith and Bybee on a lighthearted walk adapted to the group’s interests and access needs. The outing is open to everyone and intentionally supports wheelchair and power-chair users, people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and care partners. An optional bring-your-own picnic follows.

The route is mostly flat and paved, covers less than 2 miles and includes frequent stops. TriMet route 11 stops near the North Marine Drive entrance. Bring water, sunscreen, comfortable summer clothing and preferred accessibility tools; loaner binoculars are available. Advance registration is required.
