Picklesburgh opens its four-day run with pickle-inspired food and drinks, snacks, merchandise, live entertainment, contests, pickleball, a mechanical pickle and the festival’s giant Heinz pickle balloon.
Families can look for KidsPlay activities among more than 55 vendors and 14 Taste of Picklesburgh merchants. The expanded footprint covers the Clemente and Warhol bridges, Allegheny Landing, Allegheny Riverfront Park, Fort Duquesne Boulevard, PPG Plaza, Sixth Street, Market Square and Arts Landing.
Admission does not require a ticket. The festival is primarily cashless; alcohol purchases are restricted to guests 21 and older with identification.
