Families can experiment with flight, space, and imaginative making alongside Assemble, artist Daid Roy, and Black NASA. A water-rocketry workshop runs from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a 1–1:15 p.m. launch window. Drop-in activities continue through 5 p.m. and include stomp rockets, space helmets and fashion, and other outer-space creations.
Live space-inspired soundscapes accompany the activities, with performances by trē seguritan abalos, How Things Are, Petra Floyd, and BusCrates. The program takes place outdoors in the Sculpture Court and does not require museum admission.
