Children ages 6–8 explore the science behind hovering, soaring, gliding, migration, and other forms of avian movement. Activities compare flying birds with flightless species and examine how adaptations help birds find food and escape predators.
The full-week program blends classroom learning, close-up Animal Ambassador encounters, and active exploration of the Aviary’s habitats. Registration covers the July 27–31 session.
