This five-day camp for ages 9–12 examines how birds hover, soar, glide, migrate, locate food, and avoid predators. Campers compare the adaptations of flying birds with species that do not fly, including African Penguins.
The program combines classroom investigations with close-up Animal Ambassador encounters and exploration throughout the Aviary’s habitats. Registration covers the complete July 20–24 session; the source marks this session sold out.
