Feathers and Flight Camp (Four-Day)

This four-day camp explores how birds use their physical adaptations to hover, soar, glide, migrate, find food, and escape predators. Campers also investigate flightless species—including African Penguins—to understand the many ways birds move through their environments.

Classroom activities, close-up Animal Ambassador encounters, and exploration of the Aviary’s habitats turn the science of flight into an active learning experience. Registration covers the full July 13–16 session for children ages 6–8.
