Family Fest featuring River City Brass

This free outdoor Family Fest is designed for families with children ages 1–13. River City Brass and Gemini Children’s Theatre Company headline a four-hour program that also includes story time, family pickleball, a mascot meet-and-greet, a family dance party and a morning warm-up with Bodiography.

Planned activities

• “Pirates of the Mon” theater performance and a Pirate Parrot visit
• Brazilian kite flying, chalk art, button making and tote-bag projects
• Costume dress-up, creature-making and other take-home art activities
• Face painting, balloon creations, lawn games and a scavenger hunt
• Steel City LEGO activities, open play and pickleball
• Arts Bus, CyberBus and a mobile sensory bus
• Food trucks
