Cannon Firing

See and hear an outdoor demonstration of Fort Pitt Museum’s replica British six-pounder cannon on the museum lawn in Point State Park. Firings are scheduled for noon and 2 p.m., offering two chances to experience the sights and sounds of 18th-century artillery.

Watching from outside is free; regular admission is required only for families who also enter the museum. The demonstrations depend on suitable weather. Families with young children should be prepared for very loud reports.
