The preceding classroom session at the National Aviary introduces binocular use, common Pennsylvania summer species, their habitats, and identification techniques, along with an Animal Ambassador encounter focused on birds’ ecological roles.
Participants must be at least 6. Anyone younger than 16 must attend with a registered adult. Binoculars are available to borrow, and one registration covers both sessions plus National Aviary general admission on July 19.
