The concluding meeting of a three-part course examining the histories, cultures, traditions and artistic achievements of Native peoples across the Southwest. Senior docent Linda Hefter discusses Navajo and Apache peoples; Yavapai, Havasupai, Hualapai and Southern Paiute communities; Colorado River tribes; and the American Indian Fine Art Movement.
The session concludes with a 30- to 40-minute docent-guided visit to museum exhibitions and sculpture. Registration covers all three Wednesday meetings and is limited to 65 participants.
