Desert Ridge
Children and caregivers make music together while exploring sounds from MIM’s Africa and Middle East and North Africa galleries. Singing, dancing, movement, and simple instruments are used to develop early musical, motor, language, cognitive, emotional, and social skills.
Teacher Emily Bruso leads a 9:30 a.m. group for babies through 18 months, a 10:15 a.m. group for ages 1–3, and an 11:00 a.m. group for ages 2½–5. Each class lasts 30 minutes and is barefoot; socks may be worn.
