Desert Ridge
This early-childhood music-and-movement class introduces families to sounds from MIM’s Africa and Middle East and North Africa galleries. Children sing, dance, play instruments, and create music through activities matched to their developmental stage.
Teacher Nichol Elgin leads three 30-minute groups: babies through 18 months at 9:30 a.m., ages 1–3 at 10:15 a.m., and ages 2½–5 at 11:00 a.m. Shoes are removed for the class; socks may be worn, and cubbies are provided.
